Robotic Surgery

During robotic surgery the surgeon simply uses a different set of tools to perform the laparoscopic procedure that allow greater precision, flexibility and control than the human hand.  When an operation is performed robotically the surgeon is also provided with a magnified, 3-D view of the surgical site that allows tiny anatomical structures such as blood vessels and nerves to be seen easier.
